Hello, I’m Patricia
I’ll be the one holding your hand from enquiry to the afterparty.
Besides being the co-founder of Borderland® I’m also the owner of my own photography business.
With a curiosity that’s harder to satiate than thirst in the Sahara desert, you can easily find me immersed in books, attending courses or writing my thoughts out.
Words cannot express how excited I am to meet you!
And I’m fernando
I’m the one uncle John will blame for laughing until he cries his eyes out.
I’m the other half of Borderland®’s sweet orange and when I’m not entertaining humans you’ll probably find me painting or creating light installations (yes, I’m the one to blame for the neon signs you’ve seen around this page).
Can’t wait to meet you and all your favourite people!
We met at university where we both studied set design, back in 2011. The lack of opportunities in the creative and artistic market led us to create Borderland®.
We wanted to build stuff with our hands that would then bring joy to other people. And that’s how our Photo Booth was born in 2016.
When the 2020 pandemic hit, Borderland® suffered severe consequences so we tuned into our creativity and that’s when we started building neon signs with the goal, again, to bring people some joy and light during such a dark time.
The journey hasn’t been easy but we are deeply grateful for all the challenges because without them we wouldn’t have grown and, most importantly, we wouldn’t be here to meet you!
